MERIDIAN Line of Products
The MERIDIAN product lines include the MERIDIAN-II, MERIDIAN-Plus and MERIDIAN-Portable. These products are computer-assisted meridian assessment and evaluation devices, which operate on the measurement and analysis criteria pioneered in the 1950!|s by Dr. Reinhold Voll and thus termed Electro-Acupuncture according to Voll (!!!OEAV!!L). Dr. Voll established that there is a network of energy channels, called meridians, flowing through the body, which correlate to acupuncture points. Dr. Voll demonstrated that the body's organs are associated with different energy medians. Imbalances in various organs are believed to manifest themselves as energetic disturbances in the associated meridians.
The EAV assessment process incorporates principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the knowledge of modern western medical science. EAV works by measuring the acupuncture points located on meridian lines from the hands and feet that correspond to the different organs and tissues in the body. EAV measures the electrophysiological conductance (capacity to let the simulative current flow through) of acupuncture points.
This is based on knowledge that the energetic equilibrium of the human meridian system can be altered by the negative influence exercised by some pathogenic toxins, stress, as well as certain ailments of natural causes. If any disturbance or imbalance is detected from measurements, the MERIDIAN can identify the related problem organ or tissue and also assist the practitioner in finding a proper remedy and in directing a course of treatment to alleviate the stress or to restore balance of the body!|s meridian systems.
This provides the health practitioner the ability to detect a potential health problem and to treat the problem with a proper remedy or electric stimulation therapy in the early stage of disease, often before detection by other modern clinical laboratory tests or radiological type diagnosis. The device also allows the practitioner to monitor the progress of corrective therapy

The MERIDIAN-II has all the standard features of the MERIDIAN series and includes an integrated all-in-one system console unit, a cart, a set of electrodes, a built-in computer containing proprietary software, a monitor and a printer. It also assists the practitioner in finding the correct measurement points by using the specially developed point finding probe and in measuring and analyzing the results with proprietary software written in English, Spanish, Chinese and Korean versions.

The LAPEX-2000 is a therapeutic device that applies a laser beam to the blood vessel or tissues on the human body without any pain and with no damage to the skin. The use of this laser therapy will revitalize blood and tissue cells, increase the flow of blood, and increase the synthesis of protein which can assist in the treatment of tissue damage, acute and chronic joint disease, chronic localized pain and improvement of circulation. The LAPEX-2000 comes equipped with an advanced digital console and semiconductor laser. There are three types of treatment probe (LIB, Point, Multi) for the application to different areas of the body (Blood, Point, Zone)

The DPA (formerly the McPulse) is FDA approved medical equipment used for measurement and analysis pulse waveform. The pulse wave is the arterial pressure change that originates from the heartbeat and transmits through an artery. The pulse wave is changed with the systolic power of heart and the vascular condition (the arterial elasticity, resistance, etc.), followed by the pulse wave. The information reflects the functional status of cardiovascular circulation. DPA irradiates IR (infrared) to fingertip and obtains pulse wave information with the light absorbing characteristics of HbO2 of arterial blood. The medical terminology for this measurement method is Plethysmogram (PTG). The DPA, performs the automatic analysis of PTG (Plethysmogram), and also delivers secondary differentiated waveform (Accelerated Plethysmogram; (APG) and automatic analysis of it. The Analysis of PTG prepares the information of heart function, arterial elasticity, dilations, resistance, etc. The latest update on the DPA allows the product to analyse heart rate variability (HRV) from EKG data.
The analysis of APG prepares the information of arterial aging and is used for control of arterial-sclerosis and hypertension. The benefit of the DPA is the ability to provide an early assessment of vascular disease and can profile individuals with respect to their cardiovascular health. Heart disease is a major cause of illness and death in North America. The repercussions cause high personal, community and health care costs.
