Belgium Medical Inc.: Great Success at ANMA 23rd Annual
Convention, Las Vegas, July 30-August 1, 2004

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 25, 2004) -
Meridian Co., Ltd. ("Meridian") (OTC BB: MRDAF), is pleased to
announce that its subsidiary, Belgium Medical Inc. ("MMI" or
"the Company") experienced great success at the American
Naturopathic Medical Association's ("ANMA") 23rd annual
convention in Las Vegas. The Company was there to introduce the
Digital Pulse Analyzer ("DPA") to the North American market.
Using the DPA, the Company and their US Distributor, CardioGrade,
tested approximately 300 participants over the weekend
convention. The President of MMI, Debbie Williams stated, "The
positive response to the DPA was overwhelming." "The Company's
booth had unbelievable response throughout the show with everyone
expressing interest in Meridian's product and technology."

Meridian has taken 15 initial orders for the DPA with further
orders pending. The Company felt the trade show was a great
indication of the potential for this product not only in the
United States but throughout North America.

arteries and provides health care practitioners with critical
information regarding arterial aging. This FDA approved device is
